Our Work
At New Nomads we have converted over 20 VW caddy vans and in our opinion, perfected 3 layouts to suit every individual taste.

As we are based in south Devon, we have named these after spots close to our hearts:

- The Bigbury
- The Thurlestone
- The Soar Mill

01
The Bigbury
This van layout boast superior storage. With a unit behind the cab seats, creating a semi private living area, and housing a slide out fridge, and bedding cubby, and extra work-surface .
Another separate kitchen unit houses sink, shower, USB charging and further storage. The pull out bed, gives you the ability to sleep single or double occupants this is a great answer to your weekend in the country. Finally, the under bed storage drawer pulls out to give you a meter of useable worktop for cooking outside and soaking up the sun.

The Thurlestone
Let there be light! We love this layout as by removing the bulkhead entirely, you open up the space in the van. The L shaped couch, that pulls into a large bed gives the occupants an open airy feel to their sleeping quarters, while not sacrificing the all important storage in this van. With 2 large storage boxes behind the cab seats, and a large under bed drawer, you can still pack all you need for your hobbies and not compromise on space. The kitchen unit down the side, houses the sink, shower and USB points, and the pull out drawer can allow for alfresco cooking in the sun.

The Soar Mill

This is our newest design, and boy! Were we excited to launch this one!
Having re-thought the layout completely to give you as much sleeping and living space as possible, we have added 2 under bed drawers to pack away all of your camping kit.
The bed pulls out length ways to offer you the maximum space for sleeping, as well as a comfortable seating area during the day.
A small storage cubby beside the bed great for clothes and the unit behind the cab seats with a bedding cubby, fridge and cooker. We cannot wait to hear your thoughts!
